Most of his stuff is just like word salad. Like he can talk for several minutes and not make a single logical string of words. Some (sort of) ideas he has expressed

• animals have religion, but don’t have language to explain it. like….they just have an inherent belief in animal gods? big if true (This was brought up because while giving examples of pre-Socratic philosophers one of them was like “Men will always imagine their gods to look like them. If you gave a horse hands and had it draw its god it would look like a horse.” Somehow he decided that the part to focus on was the horse-god.)
• do bugs have morals? (Interesting! Please let the professor explain the context of the next philosopher to read.)
• Aliens! They’re out there! How weird they might think we are. How maybe they would agree with our philosophers. Something about two different societies coming up with the same ideas. Interesting! Maybe not relevant to anything about Augustine!
