pour one out for benoît maçon’s beetle-wife and beetle-children who presumably disappeared with the fears. poor man was living his best life and then lost his entire family :(
i love the idea that after mag200 all the people who were taken by the fears but not killed just reappear. 18 years later the guy who disappeared into the sky in episode 21 randomly appears and slams into the ground at terminal velocity.
it was weird to end a horror-tragedy with a finale that had neither of those things. imho the episode should have ended when jon died and the static rose. leaving it up in the air if the plan worked and they actually did save their world or if it was futile and all they did was play into the web’s plan would have added something to the ending at least.
mag 200 wasted jonah/elias. like i hate the stupid rat bastard but at least give us a fun and dramatic villain fight. like yes him getting beaten up and stabbed was very fun and all but it lacked the sexiness that a good villain death deserves. imagine giving characters the ability to plant horrific memories and experiences in someone’s mind and not using that.

i just cant stop thinking about waking up after being trapped in an apocalyptic hellscape and looking across the street to see the old man who i know for a FACT trapped me on an infinite rollercoaster for what felt like one million years and immediately running over kicking the shit out of him without hesitation. the catharsis of that
