i understand that english is, of course, not the only language to have homonyms. but god fucking damn it is it annoying as shit when you’re trying to learn another language.
if the romans were so smart and shit why the FUCK did they use the same pronunciation and spelling for TWO SEPARATE tenses that mean two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS????
