I'm sorry if this is annoying but I saw a picture of a super cool mosaic of a fish with some latin text on it and I fell in love with it but I can't figure out what it means (specifically the end) and I'm desperate so if it's not too much of a bother could you take a look? It says "piscis immanis exivit ad dev". I can't send the picture but if you publish this I'll reblog with the picture and you'll get a nice fish pic for the trouble.

first part is “an immense fish left to ____ ” (probably can be translated into something more poetic, I’m just going off my textbooks’ glossary) and “dev” is probably short for something.
