I absolutely love that none of the avatars have mentioned Elias/Jonah and just treated Jon like the ruler. Elias is just in his stupid little tower absolutely seething. “It’s fine,” mister king-of-a-ruined-world tells himself as Simon calls Jon the most important person in existence. “At least my god knows all I have done for it.” he adds, out loud. The Beholding obliterates another person who Jon is mad at “I could have that done to anyone I wanted. I just choose not to waste my time on them.” None of the eyes in the sky so much as glance at the Panopticon. 

after all of this is over and the world goes back to normal and everyone is happy Martin helps open the Peter Lukas Community Center. “It’s what he would have wanted” says a tearful Martin, during the dedication ceremony “He loved being a part of the community so much. I’m sure he’d be thrilled that he lives on in all of our memories every day.”  If Peter had a grave he’d be spinning in it.
