this pride i want to remind everyone that terf stands for trans (woman) exclusionary radical feminist. it does not mean exclusionist. it does not mean someone you dont like. it means someone transmisogynistic who predates and endangers trans women in a very specific way. terfs use feminisms deep roots in transmisogyny and racism to predate on vulnerable (generally white and generally wlw) people to recruit them into their evil cause.
i want you to know that if you call anyone who is not a TRANS EXCLUSIONARY RADICAL FEMINIST a terf, you are actively ignoring the wishes and safety of trans women everywhere. terf is a crucial term that trans women use to identify these people who are dangerous in a very specific, very insidious way, and to label anyone you dont like a terf, instead of focusing on fighting transmisogyny within ourselves and our communities, puts the safety and security of trans women at risk.
dont do this. say what you mean. stop calling people “farts” as well. they are not feminism appropriating: feminism has been and always will be racist and transmisogynistic. you also sound ridiculous and draw credibility from how real and dangerous terfs actually are.
im not a trans woman, please reblog this if you want, its an important message, but listen to trans women first and foremost.
(black) trans women are the reason we have pride, the reason we can experience some of the safety we have today. start listening to them, and start caring for them. we owe trans women so much: dont forget that this pride.
