everyone else is in a horror story but georgie and melanie are living in a romcom. georgie’s lack of fear means she goes to the Corruption Grocery Store to buy stuff to make dinner and just does not react at all to the fucked up bug shit as she buys her food.
they go on a romantic walk through the park. in the background the fears are trying to get their attention but they’re too lost in each others’ company to react.
melanie goes to pick up groceries. instead of telling her the total the cashier, jane prentiss, unhinges her jaw and hundreds of worms pour forth from her mouth. melanie just asks if she can double bag the milk so the bag doesn’t break on the walk home.
