jasper turns into the team rocket of steven universe where she just randomly emerges from the ocean and acts like “thIS TIME I’LL BEAT YOU, TINY ROSE QUARTZ” and they punch her and she returns to the ocean and it becomes a routine like hey jasper didnt show up for the past couple of days you think she’s okay. they’re planning a party on the beach and jasper shouts “IVE GOT YOU NOW, SMALL ROSE QUARTZ” and the gems are like hold on a sec let us beat her up it’ll only take a moment sorry for the interruption.
eventually homeworld tries to kill steven and jasper stops them. because she needs to beat this short version of rose quartz. she cant let someone ELSE do it. it’s the principle of the thing.
they team up and save the world and after jasper goes back to lifting rocks on the bottom of the ocean. she’s totally gonna beat tiny rose quartz this time.
