I’ve mentioned it a few times on here, but my first summer job as a teenager was also my dream job at the time: working as an artist at Neopets. After finally going through my old hard drives, I just uploaded a TON of my old (high res!) art to my website: complete with captions, process images, and a few pieces that definitely never saw the light of day.

This is a small selection of some of my favourites (I drew a lot of sexy Neopets while I was there, let’s be real) but there’s tons more over on my site for you to peruse! Feel free to use for banners and icons and phone backgrounds to your heart’s content.

In the movie American Psycho, Christian Bale based the main character on a Letterman interview featuring Tom Cruise in 1999. When asked about the inspiration behind Patrick Bateman, he replied: “Tom Cruise on David Letterman had this very intense friendliness with nothing behind the eyes.”

Every day of my life I think about this fact. Every single day.

The fact that Tom Cruise’s entire face is super expressive except for his eyes, which never change or show any feeling, is deeply unsettling.
