the bad news is i have a cold and im sniffling and exhausted b/c i cant breathe through my nose at night
my laptop started working again after i just took the battery out all night @ my brother’s suggestion
which means i can try and wait until nov. black friday to get a new one
anyway I’m 99.9999% certain that my laptop has, after several years, kicked the bucket. it’s not even turning on anymore. it goes to the asus loading screen and goes black and that’s it. I don’t have money for a new one lol.
my sister said since i was going to be an archaeologist i would be “like ross from friends!” and i have never been more insulted in my life
also today at work “africa” by toto came on and i just froze. i had no idea how to react i was so thrown b/c right before “shake it off” by taylor swift was on so…..???

you know what trope i dont get in tv?? when the FBI comes in to investigate a murder (or murders) and the cops are like “bluh bluh bluh we dont need you we can do this all by ourselves” and get really hostile
like? there’s an unsolved crime. there is murder. the murderer is still out there. do you not want to stop them? yeah you might be able to do it yourself but?? wouldn’t you want help?? so you catch them faster and more people don’t die??
