latin final is just my professor expecting me to translate ovid on the go in a one on one zoom meeting. can not emphasize enough how horrible this is as a method of testing.
this was literally the worst exam i have ever done. not only did i forget the latin words for things i also forgot english words. i’m pretty sure 10 out of the 20 minutes was me going “uh, it’s—sorry. um”
the english word i was looking for was “neighboring” which i only just now remembered
my answer was a “um, two things are, like…” and then moving two hands together to show they’re close
