• college bookstore: no you have to pay to ship them to us
• me: but i'm literally on the same street as you. i can see the store from my room.
• bookstore: nope you need to walk to the post office and pay out of your own pocket shipping for a ridiculously heavy box :)
• me: can i like...just put them in a box and drop them off with a form or something.
• bookstore: nope! :)

• logical part of my brain: Since you have a whole week of spring break this is the perfect time to catch up on studying and review for subjects you're struggling in!

• me: wow, this 4 page paper is really giving me trouble! i need to finish it this weekend!
• seniors sitting across from me in the library: haha yeah guys so i have 40 pages to write in the next 12 hours. i haven't slept in weeks and i'm pretty sure my blood has been replaced by caffeine.
• me: alright!

• me: *writes a date on test question*
• me: *pauses, realizes I don't remember the exact year*
• me: *writes "circa" before the year on test instead*

• Middle school me, listening to Ludo: Oh shit, this slaps!!!

• any adult who i have even a little respect for: *gives me any praise at all*
• me: cool. cool cool cool. alright. cool. do you need me to die for you? i will now die for you if the need arises. no questions asked.

• Professor: Your first essay is going to be to go to the library and get some articles and write an essay about archaeology or history!
• Me: Okay, like, what topics?
• Professor: Anything! :)
• Me: Anything like...?
• Professor: Whatever you're interested in! Just make sure it was published in the past 20 years!

• me at 8 am: I'll head to the library and spend the day working on homework today. I'll just finish charging my laptop for half an hour and then head out. I definitely don't need to take my concerta for this.
