i have many things to complain about from when i had to go to sunday school as a kid but the most disappointing was when we finally got to jesus being tempted by the desert. you finally get a fucking Jesus vs Satan showdown and it’s just satan calling jc a pussy for not jumping off a cliff and jesus telling him to fuck off. absolutely pathetic. they could have at least told us that jesus and satan had a sword fight.

i’m sure this is sacrilege but i think if you’re going to make preteens sit through at least an hour of bible study you could have told us how jesus blasted satan with his laser eyes after satan tried to run him through with a greatsword. we were 12, it’s not like we were gonna crack open a bible and check.
