biggest plot twist of my latin midterm is not that i somehow passed with a C, but that the one section I did perfectly on was fucking composition. Which I completely guessed and rushed because I had spent so much time on translation and verb synopsis.

#m #text #im actually like weirdly proud of it #because im terrible at composition!!! #it takes me 2+ hours to do the homework ones which are 4 sentences and i have the latin dictionary in front of me #i was flying blind!!!! #it was 2 sentences and i was like oh fuck lets just string together words that SOUND like its related #one sentence i fucked up w/ tenses #b/c it was a purpose clause so it was like 'do x so that i continue to trust you' #so i did the second part as a future tense #b/c the trusting it being done in the future #which was weird b/c subjunctive doesnt have a future tense #so i somehow threw in a future infinitive #and the professor was like #future tense works and it's completely fine #but thats just needlessly complicated
