i think people need to realize that while certain wild animals aren’t needlessly aggressive, it doesn’t mean they aren’t harmless. you don’t need to encourage people kill any large predator you see on sight cause they’ll probably mind their own business, but you need to remember that they will 100% kill you if you fuck with them.
like, i love nature documentaries and there’s value in teaching people “Look, these bears and wolves aren’t monsters and deserve to have their habitat preserved.” but then there’s always stories about tourists going to national parks and zoos and getting their throat ripped out because they thought “aww, just like in the show! :3 better get a selfie!”
