do you just. live in cat paradise, i am jealous of how many cats you get to interact with on a regular basis and i would die for All Of Them

I’ve got four cats. We only meant to adopt 2.

• O’Malley: I got leg surgery in 6th grade and couldn’t walk and was stuck in bed so my parents finally let me get a kitten.
• Popcorn: My brother’s cat he got for his birthday to keep O’Malley company
• Daffodil: When we went to get Popcorn he and Daffodil were the last two left from the same litter. My dad felt really bad about separating siblings so he went back the next day.
• Wednesday: Baby. Showed up at our kitchen door around Halloween last year and screamed until we let her in. She assumed she owned the place and never left.

And now Captain, who also just showed up at our kitchen door and yelled for cuddles.

Bonus is Shadow, my grandma’s cat, who I found under a dumpster when walking home from school. There were five kittens but we kept one and found homes for the rest. (My grandma said she wanted the black kitten, because it was near Halloween and she’d heard of people abusing black cats around that time.)

Why is Cicero bad for translation? Obvi I'm not a latin buff but it would be interesting to know why despite that

He’s actually pretty good for translation because we have so much of his stuff and he was a good orator. I just think he’s insufferable.

The Magnus Archives is basically a horror podcast with the episodes split into two parts

1. The statements: Standalone short stories in the first person about a person’s experience with something supernatural
2. Comments from the archivist: Jon, who’s job (at the beginning) is to read and categorize the statements for the titular Magnus Archives. The first season just has it as a framing device for the statements, but after the first season or so it forms an actual solid plot with Archivist Jon trying to figure out what’s going on with the statements (which are interconnected) and the actual purpose of the Archives and what happened to Gertrude (the previous archivist who mysteriously disappeared)

idk how to go into more detail without spoiling parts and I don’t know how blind you want to to go into it but I really recommend it.

i had to write a response essay about it and i was about to fucking jump out a window because i couldn’t just write “it’s dumb as hell i hate it i hate plato i hate socrates i fully understand why they killed him” 

counterpoint if you were young and killed a bear youd be legendary on par with hercules

were a bear to attack me i would not fight back because i respect nature. also because i have the strength of wet tissue paper.
