I absolutely get your Needle Fear. I have pretty much always passed out when getting blood drawn (only blood, not shots thankfully). Which is like....a horrible thing to feel. And created an association of needles=waking up terrified, not sure where i am or who's speaking to me, shaking and crying and possibly puking. And a whole day of feeling exhausted. So I naturally hate needles but my family was always like "don't be a baby, it's just a pinch 🙄" SAYS THE ONES WHO DONT STRAIGHT UP HIT THE FLOOR WHEN GETTING BLOOD lmao

Yeah they always try to paint Demeter as like this annoying helicopter parent which is pretty gross. Like, I’m gonna go off the Homeric hymn to Demeter here. But the story is that Zeus gave Persephone to Hades without even mentioning it to Demeter.
