professors keep telling me to take a semester abroad in athens because the college has a thing with a college there. i dont want to spend a semester in a country where i don’t speak the language, i say. “It’s fine, you’re taking Ancient Greek next semester” they respond. like can you fucking imagine. Imagine some dumbass showing up to your college and only speaking in shitty broken chaucer.
