Dude, he really is quite efficient in his gas usage and combatting techniques. I mean, all the spinning he does? It increases the length of distance that his swords make through the air before contact with enemy, meaning more acceleration, which means more force applied to the slashing, which means cleaner cut and less friction that dulls his swords.
