No.  A lot of people romanticize John Brown, but I am not one of them.  Anyone who does romanticize him should read the details of his attacks in Kansas.  People were attacked in the middle of the night, almost at random, nearly beheaded, dismembered, and viciously killed in front of their families.  John Brown does not get a pass from being a terrorist for being an abolitionist.
