i don’t ascribe to the belief that “knowledge is knowing frankenstein wasn’t the monster, wisdom is knowing he was” because “monster” implies victor frankenstein acted knowingly maliciously. victor frankenstein is a pretentious jerk who has never fucking heard of critical thinking. he’s not a monster he’s just the biggest fucking dumbass in literary history.
