pro-tip: do not take mucinex and prozac at the same time. im somehow dizzy and exhausted as well as wide awake. the room is moving. i feel like im in a dream and not in control of my body. its not a good feeling.

  1. sushiavalanche said: Yup! It’s kindof a double whammy, since the DXM in mucinex is both an SSRI like prozac, and also has effects in high doses similar to ketamine and PCP. Plus, the prozac slows the metabolism of the DXM so it builds up in your system more than it normally would. Congrats, you’re robotripping. ^__^

  3. motere said: @lesbianshepard it may not help but drink a large glass of water! It typically can help curb mucinex less desirable side effects. Not sure it’ll help with the prozac interaction though. Worth a shot! Hope you feel better soon!
