bubblegum/marceline was the very first lesbian couple i shipped from the days of me thinking “hmmm. maybe i like girls! maybe i’m not straight…” and they hold a special place in my heart because of that. so its been years and years and i kind of accepted that they wouldn’t be shown canon in the show for reasons and then come along with me aired and they’re canon and im still….so very full of emotion over that. its been ten days and im still kinda tearing up thinking about it.
