i loved my latin professor. one of my favorite stories he told us was his granddaughter bought him a latin translation of harry potter and went through two books thinking that the spells were just them saying what they meant to do. it wasnt until he saw the movie with his grandkids that he realized that the spells were in latin in the english version too.
