I’m kinda curious how many people came to asking why you hated TES Cicero so much that you had to make that banner?
There were A Lot. I bitched about him every time we had to translate something of his in Latin or during my Roman letters course which was 90% Cicero. Like 80% of the notes on those posts were mildly confused people wondering why I hated that guy from Skyrim.
“wait…you’re telling me this behavior isn’t normal?” it is normal you’re just used to people on social media pathologizing every human behavior so you assume anything outside usual societal expectations is a sign of mental illness which is actually a mindset that contributes to psychiatric abuse. annnd SEND POST
Pro-Capitalist’s defense of capitalism is just explaining how it works, and then when you say “yes I know, I just think it shouldn’t be like that” they explain it to you again but angrier this time
They say “It’s fair because the people who own capital earn all the rewards” and then you say “I dont think owning capital entitles you to all the profits” and then their brain short circuits
“He invested capital”
“Yes and then a thousand other people did work while he sat around and profited.”
“But… he invested capital….”
they literally CAN NOT FATHOM that I know how capitalism works and just oppose it on moral grounds
